Website Audit & Optimized Prototype
We've completed a comprehensive CRO audit of your current website and built a fully optimized prototype showing what your new site could look like. Here's what's inside:

Your website has a solid foundation — great hosting, clean logo, and online ordering through Toast. But right now, Google can't find your site, visitors see almost no information when they arrive, and you're missing out on customers every day. The good news? The most impactful fixes take minutes, not months.
How your site performs across the areas that matter most
The specific issues holding your website back — and what to do about each one
There's a setting turned on that tells Google to completely ignore your website. This means when someone searches "tacos near me" or "La Lola Taco Murray" — your site won't appear. At all. This was likely left on accidentally after the site was first built.
The fix: In your WordPress dashboard, go to Settings → Reading and uncheck "Discourage search engines from indexing this site." This single change could bring in hundreds of new visitors each month.
When someone visits lalolataco.com, all they see is your logo, a photo carousel, and an "Order Here" button. There are no words describing your food, your story, your location, or your hours. A new customer can't tell what makes La Lola Taco special, what kind of food you serve, or even where you're located.
What's needed: Add a headline like "Authentic Mexican Tacos by Chef Luis", a short description of your food, and your address + hours right on the homepage. People shouldn't have to click around to find the basics.
Your page title is just "La Lola Taco" with no description. When someone shares your site on Instagram, Facebook, or in a text message, the preview will appear blank — no image, no description, nothing to make someone want to click.
What's needed: Add a site description and sharing image. Something like: "Authentic Mexican tacos handcrafted by Chef Luis in Murray, Utah. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors. Open daily 11am–10pm."
Clicking "Menu" downloads a PDF file. This is frustrating on phones — the PDF is hard to read, slow to load, and requires zooming and scrolling. Most customers will give up. Plus, Google can't easily read or rank PDF content, so your delicious menu items aren't helping you show up in search.
What's needed: Create a proper menu page on your website with your items listed as regular text. Keep the PDF as a "Download Menu" backup option. This makes it easy to browse on any device and helps Google understand what you serve.
There are no customer reviews, star ratings, testimonials, or press mentions anywhere on the site. When someone is deciding between restaurants, seeing that others love your food is one of the biggest factors in their decision. Your Instagram and TikTok links are there, but the content isn't brought onto the site itself.
What's needed: Add your Google or Yelp star rating to the homepage. Feature 2-3 customer quotes. Consider embedding your Instagram feed so visitors can see real food photos and happy customers.
The only tracking installed is a Facebook Pixel. There is no Google Analytics, which means you have no way of knowing how many people visit your site, where they come from, or whether they click the "Order Here" button. You're flying blind.
What's needed: Set up Google Analytics (it's free). This will show you exactly how many people visit, which pages they view, and whether your site is actually driving orders.
Your website doesn't include any structured information that helps Google understand you're a restaurant with specific hours, location, and cuisine. Adding this can make your listing appear with hours, address, and a map directly in Google search results.
What's needed: Add "LocalBusiness" data to your site (your web developer will know what this means). It tells Google: we're a Mexican restaurant at 6356 State Street, Murray, open daily 11am–10pm.
